The First National Bank of Long Island, the Bank "Where Everyone Knows Your Name, is seeking a Loan Servicing Manager with in-depth loan servicing operations experience to support the Bank's Loan Servicing Team based in Glen Head, Long Island.
Position requires prior bank experience managing a team in residential and commercial loan operations, including loan servicing, collateral management, customer service, quality control, and system administration. The Manager must be hands-on in servicing, oversees daily operations of Servicing Team and is responsible for staff development to ensure excellent customer service, regulatory compliance and optimal productivity.
Oversee all Loan Servicing functions for Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Home Equity, Consumer Secured and Unsecured Products, Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Small Business, SBA and VISA portfolios.
Responsible for functional boarding and review of new loans, servicing, timely and accurate processing of payments, collections, loan participations, escrow analysis, insurance tracking, letters of credit, charge-off and recovery processing, quality assurance reviews of all documentation and processing, lending compliance, and CRA reporting.
Minimum 7+ years loan serving and management experience in a regulatory, high production environment, with 3-5 years of senior loan servicing experience in banking
Detailed knowledge of lending regulations and products, including residential mortgages (through direct and wholesale channels), home equity, consumer and small business credit scored products (through direct channels) and servicing of C&I and commercial mortgages.
Excellent problem indentification and solving skills
Strong analytical skills including ability to perform complex income analysis (tax returns, credit reports, etc.)
Excellent organization - must effectively meet deadlines, delegate, supervise and coordinate multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and presentation skills to all stakeholders (clients, staff, leadership, vendors)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint)
Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
