Position Summary As Strategic Account Specialist you will use value-driven principles to establish relationships with researchers, healthcare professionals, and C-suite executives at top tier medical centers to help build and scale their precision medicine initiatives using our AI-powered genomics platform. You will work hard to understand their needs and challenges. You will present our solutions with integrity. You will strive to close win-win deals that drive customer loyalty and generate referrals. To excel in this role you must have a hunger to chase and close new business! And of course, you'll be supported by a stellar team of scientists, marketers, and sales development personnel to help you and your customers build a foundation for success. Responsibilities Meet/exceed revenue targets by closing net new accounts and growing existing accounts Identify and qualify new sales leads through detailed discovery with prospective customers Partner with customers to understand their business, laboratory, and scientific needs and objectives Advance sales opportunities consistently and efficiently through a predefined sales process Prepare and coordinate solution presentations that meet specific client needs Guide software evaluations by establishing clear success criteria and motivating urgency Present and negotiate proposals that meet customer and Emedgene expectations Help establish best practices for prospecting, opportunity management and closing business Qualifications 8
years experience selling complex scientific solutions, 3
years selling SaaS software to large health systems Proven track record of success - genetic/genomics SaaS experience preferred Bachelor's degree or higher in Biological Sciences, Genetics/Genomics, or similar scientific area Must have excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders via written and oral communication Detail-oriented with a willingness to follow (and help improve) process Hunter mentality to drive new business is a must.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Account ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
